There I was presented with several options (still computerized), one of which was to press "2" if I did not want to receive further phone calls. I have since tried this with other computerized phone calls - pressing "2" as soon as I realized that a computer was talking to me about something I wasn't interested in; sometimes it works ("your number has been removed" or something to that effect), sometimes it doesn't.
