Elfenbein Klaviermusik offers thorough and carefully guided instruction in piano literature, technique, ear training (audiation), memorization, and theory. The piano curriculum prepares students for festivals, competitions, and the Music Progressions Auditions through the Kansas Music Teachers Association.
Particular attention is given to a natural and injury-free technique and to thorough mastery of all studied materials.

The Fall Semester starts August 18, 2008. See the calendar for details about upcoming events.
Based on the student's age, level, goal, and learning style, I will recommend either weekly 30-, 45-, or 60-minute lessons. Most lessons will be held in your home. Occasionally, we will meet in my home studio to take advantage of the different instruments I have, plus computer-based music education programs and games which can enhance and supplement the piano lesson.
