Yes, it was shocking to sit in the family room and see the big finale of the Justin Timberlake-Janet Jackson performance during the not-so-super halftime show last week. But a nearly bare breast was the least shocking part of it.
The real shock was that a man would rip off a woman's clothes -- planned or not -- and we would talk only about what was exposed in the process. It doesn't matter whether her wardrobe malfunctioned. What matters is that he was messing with her wardrobe in the first place.
''It's a very sad day for society when a bare breast is more offensive than the glorification of sexual violence..."
